The ASP.NET MVC HTML5 Toolkit has been running as an open source project since August 2010. It contains a rich set of controls that you can use to build ASP.NET websites using HTML5. If you've never used it before, it can be a great way to take advantage of HTML5 in your ASP.NET MVC application.
The response from the community has been great, and so far there have been 15K downloads from Codeplex and over 12K downloads as a Nuget package! As an open source project that is maintained solely by me, innovation and new updates aren't as frequent as I would like.
The time has come were I would love to see this functionality included the ASP.NET MVC framework. Fortunately, the ASP.NET team are always open to suggestions and constantly listen to developers on their feedback site.
This is where you come in. I've created a suggestion on the feedback site and it needs your votes! Head over to the site and please vote for this feature to be included in the next ASP.NET MVC release. You have three votes to use, and if you are feeling generous, you can use all three on this feature!
Let's make this happen - it can't happen without your help!
