Hi, welcome to my site.My name is Dean Hume and I made this website.
I am a Senior Software Developer living in
London. I am passionate about coding and I have dabbled in code from
Classic ASP to VB.net to C#. Although I am not
directly involved with UI design, I love UI design as well as
great web design.
This site is basically my playground that I am using to learn new technologies and
anything outside of my normal working hours. This blog site has been written using
MVC 2 and Subsonic 3 with a SQL 2005 database.
The layout of this site has been created using Skeleton. It is a easy to use
responsive design template. Go on - try and resize this window and notice the changes!
As side projects I created the ASP.net HTML5
Toolkit and the SmushMySite - Image Optimization
tool which uses the Yahoo Smushit Tool. I also contribute on
StackOverflow.
In my spare time I enjoy boxing, running,
surfing, fishing, snowboarding and music.
